I LOVE working with photographers! Building a background for a photographer allows me a lot of room for creative fabrication, without the typical stresses of filming on a set that always seems to need constant adjustment and oversight.
I often work with a brilliant young photographer, Anousha Hutton, who dreams up dark, dreamy and exhilarating images that challenge me to recreate the reality she envisions.
This shot, with the one and only Richard Elfman, required a dark and dirty set, and a larger than life porcelain rabbit head, which I fabricated out of foam and plaster.
